Few people enquired today if I am still writing on my blog. Yeah, I am. I just stopped sharing, and it didn’t bother me, but today I felt I should continue to share after those enquiries.
During the day, I came across an interesting term, the R number. India’s R number recently crossed 1. It happened back in the beginning of first and second wave. I hope it is not the sign for the third wave. Take a glance at the below image before I proceed further.
You might have the intuition of how dangerous it is to have the R value above 1. It basically shows the spreadability of the disease. R is the number of people that one infected person will pass on a virus to, on average. With 1.11 as an R value and 100 patient will generate 111 patient and then 122. It is a progressive graph. Be careful and we can fight with it successfully.
