Kot Trail

Today was my second trail with LWG and I enjoyed it to the fullest. We went to Kot trail. Led by Sunilji ( The forest man), the walk started at around 6 am. He knows a ton about the Aravalli and their inhabitants. He introduced us to different plants and narrated about their significance. One of the native plants live like a community with their roots interconnected and that’s how they uproot other non native plants. They prosper for decades norishing each other with moisture and even sunlight through their interconnected roots .

I was also fascinated to know about the startegies of Nilgai πŸ„ and Leopard πŸ†. The way they mark their boundaries without any fencing. I was a bit fearful after coming across the marks of leopard. Hoping, thy we don’t get attacked.

The best part of the trip was observing silence for two minutes and listenting to the nature. It was amazing to listen to the birds chirping. There’s a lot to learn from the nature.
On the way, I was thinking it was a bit easier walk than last one than how’s it’s difficulty level is 6. Later came the major descent. I was thinking what if I roll down. I was like others are able to do with comfort why not me. Also, it was amazing to see the fellow walkers help each other through that steep walk.
In the forest, I am completely focused and forget about the chaos of day to day life. It’s because we are back to where we belong. Thanks to Arvind for giving this opportunity and for the pan toffee πŸ˜‚. Also, thanks to Laxmikant for aspiring me to share my thoughts.

Looking forward to enjoy the upcoming walks!
