When it comes to investing, allocating capital is the most crucial task. It is more important to have the end picture in mind and to keep updating it once you achieve the goal. It is a lot more similar to the game of life where we create an end goal of our own. As the saying goes, there is no meaning in life until you add one. I need to define a daily habit so that I can stick to it and continue to upskill myself no matter what.
First thing that comes to my mind is voracious reading when I think of investing. I can read books. I can read about companies on valuepickr and lastly I can read the annual reports or about the industry itself. Apart from these, I can read the other articles. Take it easy and do it passionately, not as a burden. I will only focus on reading the evolutions of businesses for the entire week until next Sunday. I won’t focus on any other aspect though there is watching videos or keeping your inner score card the strongest. But we will prioritise and focus on these limited aspects no matter what. This is going to be the most crucial month of my life 🙂 You will devote 50 out of 168 hours to investing. The thing that I am missing is the active income. I will solve that as well in coming weeks.
We will go with a deadline approach. With the deadline approach, we can focus more on the task at hand. So let’s define the goal straight away and keep tracking them daily on this site. The most important is to make notes or to note what you learned from that topic or write what you learned vicariously.
Aim Higher as well as Achievable (Deadline for 28-2 to 6-3)
Complete the Books: The Culture Map, Dear Chairman, Bandhan Bank, and The most important things. (Along with the notes)
Valupickr: Complete Avanti Feed completely (thinking only one company add more please.) (Ambika Cotton and Kittex Garment) {Focus on only one at a time}
Annual Reports or Industry: Banking starts with reading about Kotak bank the concalls or watch his interview just learn about the company as much as possible.
Ask all your doubts at SOIC 🙂
Importantly, I plan to share my learning journey here over the entire week. Just one week is completely possible 🙂
