Completed 2 years

Today I complete 2 years of this writing journey. Lately there have been some hiccups. I just write for the sake of continuing my streak. The motivation for writing has been going low. Before, there was an energy to write and share. I even started sharing on LinkedIn and on Twitter as well. Moreover, I created a WhatsApp group dedicated to this writing journey. However, in between it feels I got distracted, and it has been tough to continue the momentum like before. Maybe I need to revisit my purpose of writing and start refocusing on week by week strategy. Also, I don’t have a specific theme for the blog yet and I never tried actively to market out my newsletter. There is a lack of strategy.

Now time to reflect some of the postive things. Nothing stays permanent you can’t have the same feeling all the time. There are ups and downs. It’s in the difficulties that one gets tested and I am happy to continue my habit no matter what. It has boosted my confidence. Secondly I learned the things I have failed out. I need to spend more time on it and try out more strategies. Thirdly I need to be choosy by picking up things one at a time and improving upon them step by step. for instace I can work upon my site and improvise it or maybe shift to substack or something else. It is one of the best time to be in the creator economy where companies are hanking after the creators.

Planning out the time ahead, I would really want to work upon, improving my writings and choose more interesting topics. Does it make sense if I don’t build up the followers? It’s completely okay with me. The other school of thought is that why shouldn’t I build my audience because then I can be able to serve them better. Also, the audience can be turned into a community. I will have the opportunity to speak with more interesting people. The question is how do I grow it then? Also the important question I am circling back to is whether it is the right thing to spend my time on? I feel it is utmost I will fail but I will learn to scale up things.

Cheers to 2 years of writing 🙂
