How do you evaluate your product?

I was searching for the Kindle industry over google to know how big the market is. What kind of genre are currently sold more? How do you determine the best price for the product? tThere are many more questions that pump. However, often we run most of the things on assumptions or wishful thinking. It is not only dangerous but also can ruin us in the long run.

The data may or may not be available over internet but you will surely get the gist. If I ask how many hand sanitizers are sold in your city in today. The google search won’t help here because that data is not freely available. You may have to do some estimation and calculation to get to the number.

But it is important to make an informed decision and note everything down on your own. Or maybe you simply start the business, it may take off too. But you will have to anser those questions in the later stage. It is better to be prepared. As Munger says “The will to prepare is more important than the will to win.”
