Peer review is one of the best thing if you have quality friend circle. They can peek into your work and give you valuable suggestions. Reviewing one work might be tough but looking into others is easy one.
I request my friends to provide me feedback and I do the same for them. It is a win win situation because of the barter exchange 🙂
