Reading Reports

There are many things to read, from newspapers to books to research papers to financial reports and more. I mostly read books for entertainment. It simply feels good and also gives me a vibe that I’m doing something productive instead of simply watching another Netflix series. However, you should only do things that give you true pleasure. In the above quote you can replace reading with watching.

There has been a trend in marriages no one wants to be married to a rural area. Mostly wants to move to metropolitan cities, not to a small village. Even most of us think the opportunities lie in urban areas only. Even we celebrate when an Indian origin guys become CEO of US companies. It’s like opportunities are at developed destination.

Ironically, not everyone of us can move to US or Delhi. Then what’s the solution. I remember reading one of Kalam Sir’s book where he discussed PURA (Provision of Urban Amenities to Rural Areas). However, it is a long-term solution. Ideally, it seems moving to a developed location is a better choice.

Actually, we are reading or watching most of the things about the developed location and rarely about the rural location. That’s why what we read or watch is so powerful in forming our thoughts. In fact, filtering out content is difficult too. As the saying goes, “Good decisions come from experience. But Experience comes from bad decisions.” Simply replace decisions with content.
