I read about the early stage startups over Product Hunt. It helps to try out the new products. Today I came across two interesting products.: Zcal.co and you.com
Zcal is an upgraded version of calendly. I really recommend you try out if you are using calendly for your meetings. I really liked the video introduction, a feature similar to LinkedIn. You can customize the invitation to emails. On the top of all these features the product is free to use. I do really want to know more about their business model. How will they be making money? If there is no subscription model by selling our data or is there any other alternatives. Hope they come with some alternatives.
You.com is betting itself as an alternative to Google. A highly dominant space, isn’t it? If I can do my search in zero click, why should I be moving to you.com Well, you are not in the target user segment in that case. I really liked the way showed multiple results itself in one page. As a googler we rarely move to the second page.
I dropped an email to the founder of you.com and on the other side, set up some time with the founder of Zcal. It will be amazing to pitch myself as a candidate in their job as I already liked the idea. Let see how it goes π
