Lately, I have been reading failure stories. The startups or the ideas that get shut like Google’s Loon project or Twitter’s Periscope.
Someone invested in those ideas believing it will take off but due to some consequences of events it didn’t turn out well.
There are startups that are able to raise to the tune billions of dollars and fail later.
Take for instance the AS2 supersonic jets which were backed by the likes of Boeing, General Electric, and NetJets couldn’t pull the trigger with billions of investments.
It’s really a hard crashing moment for all the stakeholders. You lose on the opportunity cost, time, and resources.
Such articles aren’t trending. At least I didn’t find them in my feed. Only the success is highlighted.
After all, humans are obsessed with winning.
The best part I learned is to fail quickly as possible then you have other things to fail upon. However, it’s hard to fail publicly.
Who does like to defame oneself in this glamourous world?
That’s why it’s tougher to win because it’s rare to click the win button in one go.
Did you learn to read or walk or write or anything in one go?
Nope…!
However, you failed privately not in the public domain.
That’s why the fear of public speaking supersedes the fear of death. No one wants to fail publicly 🙂
I highly encourage you to take up the speaking challenge of 21 days and beat this fear just like me 🙂 You can find the channel here
