$4 billion swiped of Coke’s market cap in a day.
Each day 25,000 people die out of starvation.
The first event is rare but attracts people the most. But how many people does it really affect maybe a few hundred folks at max?
Let me draw your attention towards a more sensitive issue.
Nearly 9 million people die yearly because of starvation since 2017.
The number will be higher in the pandemic era.
But very few of us care after all it is not a trending topic in the internet world.
Just a gesture of removing the coke bottle from the table makes people clueless about their investment philosophy that speaks a lot about how much EQ and patience is required in the world of investing 🙂
With a rational mind, everyone knows the coke isn’t good for health like smoking.
Most of the buyer are people with a rational mind and it makes me wonder at times if they are really rational including Buffet 😉
If you are too attracted to such a gesture it’s time to know yourself more.
Don’t live the way others want. Live on your own terms and conditions. You have only one life. Set your own terms and stay distracted from such garbage :p.
Popularizing the death of 9 million will do more good. It will encourage people to stop wasting food at a bare minimum.
