Bluebank Communication

Recently, I came across this company over the web. Have you ever heard the name? Chances are low given it’s an outsourcing company. It works for the likes of Reliance, Google, Microsoft, Intel and more. Isn’t that strange so many companies are using it’s services but we didn’t know the name before? The company was received funding from Intel Capital back in 2015.

There is not concrete information available over the internet as to what’s it’s competitive advantage is. The data available over internet suggests that the company is advantageous in software and hardware, particularly smartphones and tablets. It has provided services to KaiOS, on which the JioPhone runs. There are even rumours that Bluebank has been closely working with Jio to bring JioBooks to the Indian market by the end of 2021 or early next year. Wondering what’s JioBooks? Those are mini laptops running on the top of Android OS dubbed as Jio OS.

The probable reason for the company not being popular among us is because it’s not selling any end user products. It operates in the B2B space. Secondly, it’s a Chinese company. Thirdly, the company may not be putting on efforts to popularise itself among end users, thinking why? There main working domain is in B2B space, increasing visibility in end user segment won’t help them much until they come up with an end user product.
