The smart device brain is pretty clever while handling reactions. We react with anger only with limited people or may be we react with happiness only with limited people. We choose our reaction per the person. If we are talking to a friend or a closed one, whom we take for granted, we feel free to shout at them there is no fear of losing them or any follow back from them. On the other hand in a similar situation we won’t react with anger to our boss or to an elderly person. What can be the reason for such different reactions? It may out of respect or out of fear. That’s why brain is such a smart device.
What does make us take things for granted?
There is got to be a reason for that. Without reason there can’t be such a huge difference in reaction. We may not be aware of the reason. That’s perfectly fine. But not acknowledging the difference can be harmful in the long run since there is nothing granted in this universe including the closed ones. With a blink of eye, the mood as well as the behavior of the person may change. We live in a temporary world but want things to be permanent. Our mind give us distorted view of things at times, which make us take things for granted. That’s what empower us to behave in different ways with different persons in a similar or alike situations. This human behavior simply point that none is equal in one’s eyes. We live in a relative world.
There might be a question popping in your mind do we really need to behave equally with everyone or not? The answer lies in the question. If such question isn’t in your mind you can continue, the way you want. If the question is looping in the mind, you got to figure out the answer of your own. This is not a mathematical sum 😀 where we can have a perfect value for X.
A simple one liner might really help you in figuring out the solution. “Treat the way you want to get treated”. Isn’t it that simple? But we rarely like simplicity in the complex world running with complex algorithms. We have become habituated in receiving and giving, especially with muck. Stop throwing muck at the politicians at least, the best standup comedians of our time 😀
