
When was the last time you were genuinely happy? Are you trying to recall that memory? It means we don’t consider happiness a choice as we derive happiness through some situation. May be by watching our team winning the match or by spending quality time with loved ones.
What about the other times?
Other time as in when you are having your food or working on a project. Our default state is different. It is just a blank face. Mostly expressionless or unhappy.
Since we have trained our brain over such a long period of time that on some specific situations only we are happy, it is no longer happy during the day to day mundane tasks. But to smile do we need to wait for those moments. We don’t have to. One can simple smile just now. No one is stopping you from doing that except oneself. Yes it is normal to smile or be happy without any reasons. We don’t need any reason to be happy. But the way we have trained our brain and continue to do so our brain only makes us smile during those moments only.
However, we have the power to change that brain pattern today. Just right now. Just put up on a broad smile. It will surely fill up with positive vibes and enthusiasm. If you doubt me, just do it now.
One can revisit this article again and again as we need to train our brain that happiness is a choice. Because of our current habit we don’t consider it as a choice and look for reasons.
