As time flies, the relationship dies. Most of them die only due to lack of communication. It’s not because of misunderstanding or any other reason. It’s only because of lack of communication. From short term perspective, we may not need friends. We are fully occupied in your work or other stuff. As a result of it we prioritise other things. Well but at the end, it matters. At times everyone goes through rough phase. Time is not always good. On a bad day, you will need those friends. We need people just to listen to your thoughts and those are our true friends.
Even God has given us the power to choose friends. We don’t have the power to choose parents or relative but we have the power to choose friends. Isn’t that incredible?
Couple days back we were discussing about the regrets before dying. Per the book the fourth regret is, “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends”. Most of people lost the touch just a couple of years after they move to other place. But we are lucky to have social media, where we feel so disconnected in a connected world. A great companion with right people can turn around your life in magical ways, which we can’t even imagine.
“Don’t lose touch with the friends you value most, Bronnie. Those who accept you as you are, and who know you very well, are worth more than anything in the end.” This is a woman speaking from her experience in her death bed.
It’s never too late to dial in your friends! Here you go….
