What kind of posture do you make while clicking a photo? Don’t you put up a fake smile? We put on a fake smile most of times.

We keep a fake smile so that we look good in the image. As we discussed in one of the previous articles here, that our brain can’t differentiate between a fake laugh and a real one. Similarly, it won’t be able to differentiate between a fake smile and a real one. However, we don’t put on a smiling face all the time during the day. We can start doing that. Firstly, we can pass on smile whenever we greet anyone. However, in the pandemic era it’s difficult to do with mask. We can do that at least with our family members and during the video calls. Secondly, we can keep reminding ourselves every hour. Initially we can put on an alarm to get used to the habit later we will be become habituated to it.

The smile posture will be a kind of exercise for our face muscles and fill us with positive vibes. Why not try it out right now to see the affect. Additionally, in the long run compounding will be helping us.

Our current posture of our face is not a smiling one and the face has become habituated to it. The result has been getting compounded too. Don’t let the chain become too hard to be broken. Tomorrow is a great day to start this habit at least for a week and see the effects yourself. If you don’t see any results, feel free to stop doing it. Looking forward to listening as how your day goes tomorrow. Just to remind you, we don’t need anything to smile. We can do that without any reason, and it doesn’t cost us a penny.
