Each day is a fresh beginning. Just that we have such a powerful tool with us that we remember the past things. It is still our day one. Only the writing skill and the expression of thought got a little better than the previous days. There is still a lot of scope for improvement.
You have the privilege to make a fresh start tomorrow. By focusing on the things that really matters. There are very few things that honestly matters. Writing on paper will surely help in figuring out the things that matters to you. Regret Minimization framework is cool too. Simply ask “Whether I will regret not doing XX during the 80’s?” Replace XX with anything you want to. Great things always come after burning sweat over decades to make things look like overnight success. Buffet earned most of his wealth after the age 50. In fact 99% of his wealth has been earned after 50. He can be an outlier too. Because we haven’t seen many such examples. There is always an element of luck. Showing up at the right spot at the right time, when timing is really difficult. It just happens.
It doesn’t mean hard work is not required. Obviously it is a necessity but it is not a granted solution in the short run but is one in the long run. The extra effort come from inner strength. It is the will to prepare not the will to win.
Make a great start tomorrow onward till the last day. It is always the right time to make a bright beginning. The right time to plant a tree was 20 years back, the next right time is today.
