Suppose you won a lottery tomorrow of such a huge amount. The only condition is that you need to spend it in a day. What will you purchase? Come on think of the items you were thinking to purchase since a long time, make of list of it. Might be you will be buying a car or a smart device or some cool gadgets or stocks of a good company or home or jewelry and more.
If you are looking for a ballpark answer from me, there is none. It boils down to one choices and taste. The kind of life one wants ahead. There is nothing wrong in buying a cool gadget. But if it is possible to delay it then you can make money from money by using it wisely. Later may be you can afford to purchase hundred of them instead of ten now.
In today’s digital age, delayed gratification isn’t easy where everything lies just a finger tips away. It gets easier one way and tougher the other way. It doesn’t mean one doesn’t buy the necessity things, but be careful with your next purchase that you are about to make. These little saving over a period of time may end up turning 1000 to 1 lakh. That’s how you create a lottery for yourself.
There is always twist and turn. You need to figure out what works best for you and take the path forward with the leap of faith. There will be struggle and hurdle, without it the journey will be meaningless too.
