Today marks the second day of Jainism’s primary festival Paryushana Parv. Yesterday, we talked about खाद्य संयम दिवस
Let’s know more about स्वाध्याय on this auspicious day. Before going further, think once what makes you want to learn anything? Is it the curiosity, the will to earn, to seek pleasure or because you are passionate about that topic. What’s your rationale to learn?
Generally it is the curiosity , passion or the will to earn. It is most important to learn about one self than anything else. You live with yourself all the time, since the day you are born, till the day you leave the planet. Still, we don’t have much control over ourselves. Our action at times doesn’t reflect our thought process. We promise our self to stay calm in hard situation, however at times we end up lose over temper and burst in anger over someone. How much do we really know about oneself and the choices we make?
To know about human behaviour more, I read Jain literature mostly. I make sure to read at least a page on an average per day. The literature is mostly about the mysterious world inside us and the way we behave. You too can read your religious book or about the religion you have faith in. You can read self help books too. There are many books written on them such as: How to win friends, Think and Grow Rich and more. Covid19 is a known pandemic whereas Mental health is an unknown pandemic. Many people feel difficulties in sharing one’s thought because of the fear of getting judged. Knowing one’s taste really helps in the long run of life, if you want to live short that’s totally different.
I encourage you to read the book of your life and add a new creative page every day.
As usual you can share this exciting site you figured out with your closed ones, just with a click…
