University – II

We discussed the pros and cons of studying in University in yesterday’s article. Thereafter, I had a conversation with one on close friends where we discussed more about it. He raised some valid points. The example, I gave of Jio is outlier one. In statistical sense, most of the startups fail.

Let’s take a look from another angle. Most of the people in service industry are graduates from a University. They go on to pay off loans afterwards. Some are happily able to payoff loans whereas some has to go through hard times. It naturally boils down to one choices and hard efforts. One takes a decision and proof it correct. There is no wrong or right.

The more important question is figuring out what really one wants to study or do in life. In today’s world we tryout things for a day or two or may be a week and finalize our life decisions. The decision that will affect rest of your life, just taken in a tiny moment.

How to figure that out?

Your smart intellectual device, brain, has all the answers. We figure it out by observing the people we really want to be some day in future. By observing them, we realize the pros and cons. If the pros outweighs the cons, you are good to go and transform your life. Next question in your brain might be, how do I figure out whom I must observe? If you don’t know whom to observe, we start with the surroundings as we are about the pros and cons about their life. It is difficult to realize the cons of Jeff’s or Ambani’s life. We only see the pros. Similarly, you figure our different professionals and converse with them and figure out things. This process takes time, it cannot be taken just in a day or a week. But it must not too much of time too.

Until then…
