Einstein’s Principle

What was Einstein’s, the greatest ability? Is it his mathematical mindset?

Obviously he had a brighter, better and sharper brain than us. However, his moat lies somewhere else. It is his ability to sift the essential from the non-essentials, where we lack the capability to grasp that simplicity. Albert was not born with this skill. He developed it over a course of time, compounding helps.

To put in Einstein’s words, “I soon learned to scent out what was able to lead to fundamentals and to turn aside from everything else, from the multitude of things that clutter up the mind.”

In present world, where information is cheap and attention is expensive. Einstein’s principle is more relevant than ever before. We keep on checking the news or the feed to see what’s new, filling up our mind with clutter uselessly. That news or the feed won’t even be useful after an hour or next month. We too know that but we have the habit of checking, continuing the infinite loop.

This principle is more relevant for the investors, where we see market going up and down just with a flick of news. Making us more inclined to be an information consumer as we are all in a race to make quick bucks. Unike in physics, in stock market an investor doesn’t need to be precise to the end points. One needs to make decision with the partial information, this simple principle has kept Jeff Bezos, CEO, Amazon ahead in the race. After having the full data, everyone can take the right decision.

Keeping the mind absorbed only with the useful data will help you come up with the useful insights.
